Thanks for the feedback, I've gone ahead and pushed the changes to
master.

[There's a bug right now with launchpad's git implementation that
despite telling it to email all changes to the branch, launchpad doesn't
actually do so. I understand that addressing it is a near-term item on
the roadmap, though.]
