Wrt. Debian 2.11.x will be enough:

 - It'll go into testing/sid.
 - I'll evaluate whether it has any chances to go through stable
   proposed-updates, and if that's the case it'll land into a Stretch
   point-release.
 - Jessie has 2.9 but it's not my focus right now.
