Sure, the color is going to get adapted depending on where it is used,
but it doesn't preclude the project from offering a couple of different
variations for them to start from. 

Eg. we should probably have a more monochromatic version that fits
in with the current flat colorless icon themes.

getting displayed on the internet shouldn't be a problem. If we adopt it,
it will be put up on the project pages, wiki, common criteria etc. We
could even submit some edits to the wikipedia article on apparmor.

We can also start using it in presentation etc. Yes it will take some
time but since we aren't replacing an existing branding (we don't
really have anything atm) I expect it will catch on fairly fast.
