Slow startup?

Yes it does.
First time:
powerhorse:~ jo$ time bzr
usage: bzr COMMAND
try "bzr help"
real 0m2.550s
user 0m0.280s
sys 0m0.130s
Fifth time:
powerhorse:~ jo$ time bzr
usage: bzr COMMAND
try "bzr help"
real 0m2.567s
user 0m0.300s
sys 0m0.160s
powerhorse:~ jo$
The other times I ran it (second up to the fourth), it was
approximately equally slow.
