Its kind of you to offer. I think its better for the participants in the
conversations to file them, as they're the ones that would know for
certain whether its been dropped or not. Many times something on the list
will look like it fell through that in reality didn't, presumably because
of some out of band conversation in private email or irc.

Your other suggestion, of pulling in other notes from others, seems to
work particularly well with the prereleasing on the list.
