I *KNOW* how to get '*' through shell. The post I replied to however
suggested that following adds all unknown files:

bzr add "*"

where, as you can see, the * is /not/ expanded by shell, but is supposed
to be expanded by /bzr/. If bzr does not expand it, it's all right and
well.
