In the last few days I've been trying to pull som branches that I
found in launchpad, and have failed with some of them with the same
error.

It looks like bzr is really picky. The server that has that branch
has a 100MBit connection right into the Swedish backbone network, so
it's a good connection and shouldn't have any problems.

Can you try to pull it from
http://www.acc.umu.se/~bagfors/bzr.pull-revision/ instead and see if
that works?

Regards,
Erik
