Lobbying for -p1 diffs

Michael Ellerman, and lo! it spake thus:

Well, apparently I'm in a minority here, since every other message in
the thread is discussing details of "how to show this", and since it's
already merged anyway...   but I really dislike -p1 diffs.  I really,
really want an option to turn this off (and, me aside, I'm not sure I
like it being the default).

Of course, it's certainly a tribute to the speed of development that
things can be brought up, discussed, written, reviewed, and merged in
the time it takes me to fall behind on email for a day or three...
