- From your comment about this bug:

Bumping to critical priority as this affects our ability to bump tree formats without affecting
remote users - it means that wt format bumps *are* network incompatible.

And John comment:

I don't expect 0.14 to be changed, but it might be possible to make the code more compatible for
future format changes.
