[RFC] Add extra ehlo() and starttls() for gmail smtp

For some reason, I can't get "bzr send" with "mail_client =
editor" to work without the attached applied. Gmaill complains
about needing starttls(). I'm not sure what the best way to
proceed is, but without this, gmail with SMTPConnection is broken.

Is it crazy to add a special check for gmail? Or should these
additions cause no further problems?

Thoughts from someone with more SMTP experience appreciated.
