Partial branch anyone?

Hi all,

Say, I have a project with a number of sub diectories. I have now 
decided that I want to split out code in one or more of the main
project into a new project. I'm thinking of something like:

    bzr partialbranch existing-top-level/dir_x  new_dir_x_project

Is this possible now? Is it a feature even on the radar?
