Performance comparison of 1.3.1 vs "1.4rc" (bzr.dev 3368)

The attached OOo spreadsheet shows the performance improvements (or
otherwise) of the trunk vs 1.3.1. This is comparing numerous local
operations (on packs) across 33 (history-less) projects on Hardy. In a
nutshell, add and checkout appear slower - everything else looks good.

Note that the plugin generating the raw data (usertest) now supports
collecting the numbers on projects with deep history but I'm yet to put
together a collection of archives for those yet.

Also note that these numbers don't cover:

* network operations
* knit repositories
* knit<->pack operations
* OS X and Windows performance.

In other words, it's good that the attached numbers look ok but that
doesn't necessarily mean 1.4's performance is better overall yet.
