on a second look, it's not your fault, it appears that bzr diff exits 
with status 1 instead of 0 for some reason (although it outputs diff 
correctly), and VCSCommandDoCommand freaks out because of this. I added 
allowNonZeroExit to the options that DoCommand passes to it and uploaded 
the script to the issue tracker [1].
