bzr, bzrtools, bzr-svn

I think I am about to have another moan... sorry, but...
The Hardy standard install of these three packages is 1.3.1/1.3.0/0.4.9.
This combination has some bugs/features that are blockers for the
"Bazaar as Subversion client" in some situations. bzr-svn is now at
0.4.10 but there is no Ubuntu packaging for this, and anyway I need bzr
and bzrtool 1.5 to be able to test the bug fixes that Jelmer has
released.
On PPA we now have bzr 1.5rc1-1. 1.4 has disappeared into a black hole,
it didn't make it to hardy-backports. There is a release of bzrtools
for bzr 1.5 but there are no packages for it. PPA has 1.4.0 and it has
not got to hardy-backports.
So PPA appears to hold a mutually inconsistent collection of packages.
Can I propose that if the deb packaging scripts for bzr, bzrtools and
bzr-svn were made available and URLs to the tarball downloads collected
together, then people could build their own deb files and use local
repositories to enable nice consistent collections.
The alternative is to use a system other than PPA that actually
encourages having a collection of packages that can be maintained to
provide consistent installability.
Sorry to moan, but this situation is very frustrating -- I want to use
packages rather than installing manually, but I also want to help
Jelmer's efforts by trying his bug fixes.
