Bazaar 1.6 released!

I'm afraid that with Vista, admin permissions are required simply to install in "\Program Files", and given these tighter restrictions, supporting backwards compatibility for XP and earlier doesn't sound like a great investment in our time.

I'm thinking a nice alternative would be a .zip file with all the necessary components already laid out (indeed, our build process already creates exactly this).  This would allow people to download, unzip and run it anywhere they desired.  Do you think that would satisfy the students etc you refer to?
