[WILDCAT/MERGE] make wildcat work with bzr 1.5

Long time with no updates. I've eventually got myself a laptop that I
can use while I'm traveling, so I'm getting more work done on this
project now.
I've created a Launchpad team for Wildcat BZR [1] and requested a
mailing list. The latest version from Launchpad works on Ubuntu 8.10
with Bazaar 1.6.1. More updates to follow soon.
I'll have another look at making the Windows .exe version as soon as
I've addressed some more general issues.

Cheers,
Sandy
