Thanks for the feedback!
I think that may actually be a good way to phased this in (or not:).
That way we can even land the option in time for 2.0
because its just another option at first and not a such a disruptive change.
Coredevs&beta testers can then be encouraged to alias this option in,
and we can see after a while of dog-fooding if we can stand a change
to the default.
