bzr-fastimport and revision-editing

[I didn't want to steal Ian's thread.]

Is it possible with bzr-fastimport to remove accidentally added
passwords from the history?  I'd like to erase all occurences of
passwords with ***.  Last time it failed, so I though that it's a
checksum issue.  But in the thread "bzr-fastimport progress update"
Ian speaks about bzr-export issues.

I haven't tried a clean round-trip yet.  May it have been a
bzr-export issue or is my plan doomed to fail anyway?
