hi,

I prefer #1 because it feels less squashed to me, maybe its the bigger fonts.

> 1. Utility navigation (the very top strip): do you prefer Design 1 or Design 2?

> 2. Banner carousel: necessary or not needed?
Since we probably wont have screenshots for releases, maybe a
(smaller?) carousel
can replace the 'terminal'/screenshot next to the release features in #1

> 3. Entry points: 4 panes (Design 1) or 3 panes (Design 2)?
#1 !   - again the bigger fonts makes it a little less overwhelming for me.
