bzr plugins suggests I do have bzrtools 2.0.  I don't understand how
this can be so because I have not installed anything from source -- only
from the Karmic repositories.  At the moment I don't even have the bzr
PPA enabled.

Going to /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/ I find a file,
BzrTools-2.0.0.egg-info.

I think someone must have packaged bzrtools 2.0 for Karmic and
mistakenly called it 1.18.
