And I fail to mention that some packagers job is just to update
some archive with the source released and, boom, all their users
can upgrade (overly simplified without intent to minimize these
packagers job).
In that case, the lack of announcement may come as a surprise as
they receive the upgrade *before* the announce.
But well, we can't satisfy every case, the plan was (and should
still be IMHO) to have as many installers and packages ready by
the time we publicly make the announce.
