It's also occurring on IE8 (Vista SP2) and Safari (10.4). IE8 is
detecting it as a 'legacy' website and offering a mode to make it
display better (which is does). I don't know why it's doing that but we
ought to fix that.

The font rendering of "Bazaar" is also pretty ugly in your screenshot.
I'm seeing that on some browsers as well.

After the rendering issues above, my biggest concern is the NEWS
section. I know I'm flogging a dead horse but I still feel the middle
section works better without it and it would work better with headlines
in the banner under the logo. In it's current form, it's also not going
to scale particularly well once we get multiple NEWS items, e.g. the
moment 2.1.0beta1 is announced. Does anyone else feel strongly about
this one way or the other?

I'm not sure how Emma is going with the carousel. In the meantime, I'll
throw in an Explorer screenshot on Vista instead of the qdiff one.
