What else is required before announcing 2.0.0?

I've added a link at the top of the current website to the new website.

This weekend, I've also added Explorer tours for OS X and GNOME users
(thanks to Neil and Algis for their screenshots), polished up the
plugins registry (it's easier to find stuff now), and tweaked the
website so that I'm finally happy with it. A "desktop" installer
(including GUI tools) for OS X users would be nice, but otherwise, I
can't think of a reason for delaying the big event any further.

I *really* think we ought to Just Do It and formally announce 2.0.0.
