All of these are pretty good, though they all assume the reader
understands not just VC but DVC as well.

Until DVCS came along, VC was very much a "team" thing instead of a
"personal" thing. The scope of the potential user base for Bazaar,
particularly with our new improved GUI tools, is pretty huge I hope. I
want my kids and parents to start using version control and I'm no
longer afraid of teaching and supporting them to do that!

More generally, many non-developers can now use version control for the
first time if we've done our job right. Somehow, we want to interest
people at that extreme as well as guru developers unhappy with other
DVCS tools. And above all, the biggest potential user base is those
developers still on central VC tools (and mostly happy with working that
way).

In the end with the above in mind, I decided to drop the marketing
tagline altogether and go back to a simple "What is Bazaar?". I dropped
the "better code faster" motherhood statements as well in favour of a
more explicit list of best practices we support and encourage. Is it
better now?
