I'm not hostile to a project being hosted by one of its corporate
sponsors; there's nothing terribly holy about pretending that a project
is somehow impartial by hosting it at something-er-other .org or .net;

I'm am big on consistency, though, so I can only hope that Ubuntu Linux
is moving to ubuntu.canonical.com and the Launchpad bug tracker will be
moving to launchpad.canoncial.com, etc.

That will certainly send a coherent and unified message.

[and yes, Fedora ought to be at fedora.redhat.com. Why not? That's what
it is]

Honestly, though, there's nothing terribly wrong with bazaar-vcs.org;
after all, in the main, it's Google juice that counts.

Well, it could start by backporting Bazaar 2.0 to previous Ubuntu
releases.
