Is it clear that the example where the log describes the developer's
social life more than the content of the commits is *all* of the
objection?  The one-commit-merge shown above is precisely the form of
Óscar's example in a message that Andreas replied to and IIRC quoted
the example, saying he didn't want to see that in the logs.
