The log will be more useful if you can run with -Dhpss, so we see what
actual operations it's doing.

There is something odd about the state of your half-pushed branch on
the server; https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/launchpad-code/+bug/562672

I can pull from your http server in about 90s (1325kB) and push it to
Launchpad in a fairly short time:
26.950  Transferred: 242KiB (10.1K/s r:58K w:184K)

I would guess that this directory is somehow in a half-initialized
state and deleting and repushing is the pragmatic answer; obviously we
should also work out how that happened and why it gets stuck when it
does.
