Thanks to everyone who has helped with this release[1]. This is an
announcement for the packaging people for them to get binary packages
built so that we can get a final release announcement out.

The tarball has been uploaded, and I'm waiting for pqm to finish
committing to the 2.2 branch. At that point, I'll bring the release back
into trunk.

[1] Vs 2.1 we have >120 bugfixes (some may also be fixed in the 2.1
series). Very well done, IMO.
