Ah, that's not quite what the builddeps PPA is for. The builddeps PPA
holds a debhelper backport and a debhelper addon which are
build-dependencies of subunit/hardy. (I'll get something about this into
doc/developers/ppa.txt shortly.)
Whereas testtools and subunit are in the main PPA - I assume the
relevant use-cases are developer convenience, and being able to ask
end-users installed from the PPA to run 'bzr selftest'.
