Hi John,

I've occasionally seen this, but in my cases I've never noticed it
messing up the branch. In the cases that I actually stared hard at, the
inconsistency appeared to just be tuples vs. lists. Next time you get
this, you might like to check the output carefully to see if you've got
a simple tuple-vs-list inconsistency, or actual data inconsistency. I
suppose it must be the latter, if the branch is being messed up.
