I tried the Lucid PPA but it wanted a newer Python:
bzr: Depends: python (>= 2.6) but 2.5.2-3 is to be installed
Depends: python-central (>= 0.6.11) but 0.6.8 is to be installed
The bzr packages in the Karmic and Jaunty PPAs wanted a newer python-central:
bzr: Depends: python-central (>= 0.6.11) but 0.6.8 is to be installed
I wasn't willing to upgrade these system python packages because we've got some production Python webapps on the same server, so I used the bzr package from the Hardy PPA (2.2.1-0~bazaar1~hardy1) which doesn't depend on any package versions that are newer than those in Lenny. So far so good, I'll report back to the list if I encounter problems.
Thanks,
Francis
