   * glibc-2.3.5 defines WCONTINUED, which is available only since
     Linux 2.6.10.  On older kernels waitpid() returns -1 with errno
     set to EINVAL if WCONTINUED is supplied in options. Retry without
     WCONTINUED set in that case.
