it has just happened again, on the same website than last time
(a french online RPG: games.mountyhall.com)

but it was less colored than previously: all destroyed places were just white.
and metacity's title bar suffered from it this time.
since I first reported the bug, cairo has been updated from 0.6.0-0ubuntu1 (??)
to 0.6.0-0ubuntu2.
