Steps to reproduce:
- Open a folder, wait for thumbnails to build
- Drag some files to another folder (under the current one, or elsewhere)
- Open this other folder; witness thumbnails building again...

Also, if the same folder can be seen under two or more path names (via symlinks, 
or mount --binds), the thumbnails seem to get built separately for each path.
