When I view a message that has been signed with GPG or PGP, it hangs for a long
time with the message "Verifying message, 0% complete" in the status area.

The gpg process is just sitting there, doing nothing...

I fixed it by turning off the .gnupg/gpg.conf option:

 # keyserver-options auto-key-retrieve

Now it comes back right away with 'valid signature, cannot verify'.  Please mark
this bug as resolved right away.  I'm entering it into the database to provide a
solution for those who encounter the similar difficulty.
