Ubuntu | gtk+2.0

Summary: libgdk-dev should depend on xinerama-dev etc
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: gtk+2.0
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: ross at burtonini.com
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

If I do pkg-config gtk+-2.0, I get this error:

checking for gtk+-2.0 >= 2.4.0 ... Package xinerama was not found in the
pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing
`xinerama.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variabl e Package 'xinerama',
required by 'GDK', not found.

Looking at the pkg-config files, I see:

Requires: gdk-pixbuf-2.0 pango pangocairo x11 xext xinerama xi xrandr xcursor xfixes

Adding libxinerama-dev, libxrandr-dev, libxcursor-dev and libxfixes-dev lets the
pkg-config call succeed, so these libraries should be added to the libgtk2.0-dev
Depends line.
