Confirmed here in an up-to-date Breezy.

Versions:

ii  dbus 0.35.2-0ubuntu5  simple interprocess messaging system
ii  hal  0.5.3-0ubuntu9   Hardware Abstraction Layer

I think this is a major bug since lots of apps use dbus+hal for device managing.
