I'm running Ubuntu on a PowerMac: G4 at 1 GHz. I did a comparison with some xvid
encoded movies between gstreamer and xine-lib.
Xine-lib plays those movies properly except that the sound is going, after a
while(quite quickly, actually), out of sync with the images. Gstreamer stays in
video/audio sync BUT the movies is not at all smooth and the macro blocks
between I frames are heading toward full green color.
