I'm sorry for such a lousy title but I can't get a better explanation for this:

I was trying to take a screenshot of Evolution for another bugreport and I
wanted to take a screenshot of the attachment drop-down with GIMP. I executed a
Capture Screen action but the window with the captured screenie never showed up,
so I repeated the action. Again, the screenshot never showed up.

But when I was closing GIMP, a popup came up stating that there were unsaved
images and those would be discarded.

Here are the steps to reproduce:
- Open Evolution and select an email with an attachment
- Fire up The GIMP and go to File/Acquire/Screenshot
- Select "Whole screen" and "Grab after 3 seconds delay"
- In Evolution, press the drop-down you'll see next to the attachment so that
the popup menu is displayed with the proposed actions for the attachment
- Hopefuly, this was all executed in time for be included in the screenshot (you
may increase the delay)
- You'll notice that time as passed but there's no screenshot to be seen
- Close the GIMP
- The warning message is displayed
