Summary: Nautilus doesn't create shortcut when dropping a URL in
window
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: nautilus
AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: cpinto at yimports.com
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
I wanted to save a URL to disk and after selecting, dragging (from Firefox's
address bar) and dropping the URL into a Nautilus window I get the following
error message:
Error creating new document.
Error "Not on the same filesystem" creating new document.
I'm attaching a screenshot with the message.
One thing is weird though, if I select the "blank page" on the left side of the
URL address and drop it on Nautilus it creates the shortcut correctly without
any problem.
