Thanks for your bug. The TryExec change is not necessary and date from some
previous upload, I've changed it with the previous upload since it was not
working nicely an unmodified version is fine, I've fixed this with this upload:

 gdm (2.13.0.2-0ubuntu4) dapper; urgency=low
 .
   * debian/patch/09_desktop.patch:
     - fix typo pointed by Mantas Kriaučiūnas <mantas at akl.lt>,
       use gksu instead of gksudo
