Ubuntu | nautilus-cd-burner

Summary: Progress count-down is jerky/sea sick
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: nautilus-cd-burner
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: vincent.trouilliez at modulonet.fr
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

When I burn a CD, there is a counter inside the progress bar, that shows the
estimated remaining time.

The problem is that instead of counting down smoothly/linearly like this:

5 min 50 sec
5 min 49 sec
5 min 48 sec
etc..

it is jerky and does something with a pattern like this:

5 min 50 sec
5 min 20 sec

5 min 49 sec
5 min 19 sec

5 min 48 sec
5 min 18 sec

and so on.

It doesn't look very tidy...
If that helps, I notice that when I burn an audio CD with Rhythmbox, there is
the same problem.

The problem shows both in Breezy and Dapper.
