I happen to have a problem:

1) on workspace #1, I have Totem playing a few mp3 songs over and over again, as
background music

2) on workspace #2, I have a P2P client running with many video files in the queue

3) regularly, I want to quickly preview the video files to see what they
contain, and decide whether to cancel the transfer if I don't like them.

Problem: I can't do that. If I preview a video file, it will not start a new
totem instance. It will stop playing the mp3's (first instance), clear the
playlist (!), and play the video in WS #1 instead of the current one (#2).
