Summary: command line longer then gnome-terminal window's width
misbehavior
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: gnome-terminal
AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: sivan at ubuntu.com
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
On my dapper there is:
ii gnome-terminal 2.13.0-0ubuntu The GNOME 2 terminal emulator application
ii gnome-terminal 2.13.0-0ubuntu Data files for the GNOME terminal emulator
To reproduce:
1. ALT-F2 , type "gnome-terminal"
2. After the gnome-terminal window has come up, make sure it's not maximized.
3. Make sure you don't maximize / minimize it. Just leave it as it was openend.
4. Press a charachter key, and wait until the line exceeds the width of the
gnome-terminal window.
5. Watch how the chars are overwriting themselves from the starting left of the
line. See screenshot for example.
