Running Ubuntu Hoary - no Breezy repos.  Conservative repos actually.

Starting Evolution results in the error "es menu class init" and that's all that
happens. Last thing that was changed was that I got VNC running as per this
thread: http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=42941&page=1&pp=10

After doing that Evolution doesn't start. For a while on startup I was getting
this error:

"The Application "evolution-alarm-notify" has quit unexpectedly.

You can inform the developers of what happened to help them fix it.  Or you can
restart the application right now."

I uninstalled Evolution and reinstalled it.  The evolution-alarm-notify" error
no longer appears but Evolution still does not start.
