Agreed, but I thought I read on several occasions people being invited to
created such wish-lists bug reports, to record their suggestion. So that's what
I did... as I didn't feel the courage to create 20 different bug reports for
every little suggestion...

Oops sorry, I wasn't aware of that. I just assumed that they meant to at least
match the functionality of the Gnome 2.8 editor, I didn't know they decided to
remove features :-/

Hmmm, last time I tried it, I created a sub-menu it somehow screwed up my entire
applications menu. Also, I later realised that it modified only the user's menu,
not system wide. Also, it is not integrated in Gnome, it adds yet another icon
to the busy "System Tools" sub-menu, whereas the gmenu-simple-editor doesn't
clutter the menus, and is called very elgantly by righ-clicking on the menu
applet. :-)
