Summary: [Breezy] Menu editor doesn't update/reload the menu
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: gnome-menus
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: vincent.trouilliez at modulonet.fr
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

When I use the menu editor, my changes don't appear automatically, not even if I
wait a few seconds after exiting the menu editor GUI. I have to do "killall
gnome-panel" or similar, to force the menu to update.

Could the menu editor refresh/reload the menu automatically when the user closes
the editor ? And/or, get Gnome to check the desktop files every 30 seconds or
so, in case some program made changes to the menu and it needs to be reloaded ?
