Summary: [Breezy] "Fading" effect when logging out, is not smooth
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: gdm
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: vincent.trouilliez at modulonet.fr
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

In Gnome, when you click on System->Log out, the little dialog windows pops up
after a little delay of a second or so (BTW could this be shortened ?) then
there is a visual effect, to darken the screen (ala gksudo), with a fade out
effect. Problem is that the fading is nothing but smooth/pretty on my machine.
Instead, it consists of what seems like 7 consecutives strokes ! So instead of
looking nice, it looks very crap/cheap, which defeats the purpose... :-(
