Ubuntu | gnome-session
Summary: Have to confirm "Xsession:" on login
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: gnome-session
AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: psh103 at soton.ac.uk
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
Since a recent upgrade, whenever I log in I get an (undecorated, this is before
any other loading,) ok-dialog that just says "Xsession:". Until I click ok,
nothing proceeds. This happens when I log in as any user, even one created just
to test this.
It's only a guess what component this is in, I went for gnome-session because I
think the problem arrived at the same time as gnome-session-daemon started
crashing on logout; I'm not reporting that though, as it seems to be due to bad
config on my main user account.
