Ubuntu | gnome-system-monitor
Summary: Clicking column heading confusing
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: i386
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: gnome-system-monitor
AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: richard.kinder at gmail.com
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
When clicking the column heading in gnome-system-monitor, a most confusing thing
happens. The column heading 'lowers' and can be re-arranged with respect to the
other columns. Expected behaviour is for the ordering of the data in the monitor
to be changed to the column heading being clicked. If a menu is opened then
closed, the behaviour reverts to normal.
Note: this only happens via VNC (Remote Desktop enabled) - unsure of non-vino
VNC servers (could be a vino/XTest problem?). On the 'live' box, the problem is
not observed.
Seen in both hoary and breezy.
